Of the different types of abuse, neglect is most common (79%), typically affecting children younger than 3 years of age, and often at the hands of those closest to them (like a parent/guardian or caregiver).
Children deserve a world where they can grow without fear of physical/emotional harm or food insecurity. They are the foundation of our society. The most innocent and hopeful of us.
A society that safeguards its children's futures, is a forward-thinking society that will thrive.
